We were pleasantly surprised that they were open on New Year's Eve! The kitchen closed at 8 PM and we drove into town about 10 minutes prior and our server told us not to worry that they will take care of us. We ordered some fantastic food and they had an impeccable wine list and cocktail menu. It was so busy on New Year's Eve that they actually ran out of ingredients but we had amazing cocktails and wine despite that we appreciate all of the staff working so late to take care of everybody on New Year's Eve and the food was outstanding. The service was excellent, and the ambience was very romantic with multiple fireplaces in place and a guitarist playing live music. It was a perfect relaxing New Year's Eve and we would definitely come back here again. Prices were a little on the high side, but they were nice enough to let me order an appetizer that was on the prefix menu instead of the entire course menu. Very happy our NYE was spent here in front of the fireplace and we appreciate all of the staff making our experience beautiful on a holiday.

I was staying at lodge of the desert. Cielos is the restaurant. It was a good surprise. The tacos from the bar menu stood up to any I have eaten in town yet. The real treat is desert, the churros were some of the best I've ever eaten. I'd come l just for dessert and coffee.

Stopped by here for dinner with a party of 9. Staff was friendly and very attentive ( they charge a mandatory gratuity of 20% for large parties) I had the southwest salad with grilled chicken. One of the best tasting salads. So much flavor.

What a beautiful restaurant with outstanding service and food. We had the mango margarita and green corn tamales. Top notch!!! For dessert we split a pecan cheesecake. Another bit of decadence! What stood out was the service. We came for a late dinner and was not at all rushed out. Definitely on my return list!!!

The Mother's Day brunch was a culinary delight. Compliments to the chiefs and staff for making our stay at Lodge on the Desert a memorable stay. We enjoyed your more simple breakfast buffet each morning and a wonderful dinner last Saturday night. I savored your jumbo divers scallops and the Afro Cuban band made the ambiance special. Above all however was the pleasant surprise of your extensive gourmet food offerings for your most spectacular Sunday brunch buffet for Mom's Day. The entire room set up had such a selection that was all well thought out with such a wide array of choices that one could not possibly taste all. The prime rib was delectable and your chocolate tart with berries were my absolute favorite. Thank you so very much for all the love and skill you all put into making Cielo's a truly memorable 5 star gem in Tucson.

It was almost a 5! But I docked them for no churros The service was phenomenal even though it was busy and the food was incredible. Everything was so delicious and well cooked, the flavors in the meat, potatoes, and even the fundido was spot on. I can't say enough about the food. The environment itself was perfect and so relaxed.
